Suliman Tannery is the extension of a 50 years experiance in this field which started in leather curing and salting.

We started as exporters of dry salted cow hides in the 60's of the last century and had a very wide international reputation in this field.

Tanning is the natural evolution of the business as we all know, so in 1997, we made Suliman Tannery to serve our customer demands of pickled and wet-blue cow, goat and sheep hides and skins.

Today we are one of the leading suppliers of Sudanese raw, pickled and wet-blue Cow, sheep and goat skins and hides.

We can supply all of the following products:

Cow hides:

- Dry salted: average weight 8-8.5+ Kg / piece, 6+ Kg / piece min. weight, selection: A/B - 80%/20%, packing in bales each containing 10 pieces. One 40 feet container can take 22-24 tons (we can supply special weights on order).

- Pickled / wet-blue:average area 13-14+ sq.ft/side run selection, min 10+ sq.ft/side, A/B/C -  30%/35%/35%. packing in pallets each pallet 4,500 sq.ft, one 20 feet container can take 45,000-50,000 sq.ft.(We can supply diffrent selections and gradeas on demand).

Goat skins:

-Dry salted: average area 55-60 sq.ft/doz. min 3+ sq.ft/piece. selection A/B/C - 25%/35%/40%. packed in bales each containing 5 dozens. One 40 feet container load is 1500 Doz.(We can supply diffrent sizes on demand).

-Pickled / wet-blue:average area 55-60 sq.ft/doz. min 2.5+ sq.ft/piece. selection, {Standard(ii,iii,iv)} / {V-VI} / {X} - 25%/ 65% /10%. packed in pallets each containing 200 dozens. One 20 feet container load is 2000 Doz.(We can supply diffrent selections and gradeas on demand).

Sheep skins:

-Dry salted: average area 80-85 sq.ft/doz. min 5+ sq.ft/piece. selection A/B/C - 30%/35%/35%. packed in bales each containing 5 dozens. One 40 feet container load is 750 Doz.(We can supply diffrent sizes on demand).

-Pickled / wet-blue:average area 75-85 sq.ft/doz. min 4+ sq.ft/piece. selection, {Standard(ii,iii,iv)} / {V-VI} / {X} - 35%/ 55% / 5%. packed in pallets each containing 150 dozens. One 20 feet container load is 1500 Doz.(We can supply diffrent selections and gradeas on demand).

We have commited ourselves to supply our customers with fresh and wet-salted skins from the best origens in Sudan and specially in pickled and wet-blue we ensure that all the skins are from fresh skins.

We always wellcome our customers who are intrested in inspection before shipping the goods.

We have one of the best standard processes for general purpose pickled and wet-blue leather and we can make special processing for our intrested customers for special purpose products.
